A Sense of Place

The exhibit was designed by JMU graphic design instructor Carissa Henriques.

The exhibit illustrates how the school evolved between its 1908 founding and its designation as James Madison University in 1977.

While earlier campus history projects focused on leaders and major events, this exhibit presented a more inclusive portrait of students' experiences on campus.
